2.26.2 BFD Session Failed
Message Port Fault Set
Severity Info
Explanation For Bi-Directional Forwarding Detection (BFD), produced when an
interface has not received BFD packets within the configured inter-
val timer times the detection multiplier. The connection may be
lost even though there is no link (LOS) failure.
Action Perform the following:
1. Check the configuration.
Alarms The following components are affected:

• FE Port Failed Info
• GE Port Failed Major
• XE Port Failed Major

Explanation The port failed to configure. This could be due to high traffic
through the card, a problem with provisioning associated with the
port.
Action Perform the following:
1. Verify traffic capacity.
2. Verify load preferences.
3. Verify provisioning.
