Message IGMP Report Discarded due to Reserved Multicast MAC Address
Severity Info
Explanation The IGMP code validates the requested multicast IP address to
insure that it is not within the reserved multicast IP address
range (224.0.0.0 - 224.0.0.255). This range of multicast IP
addresses are used for protocols only and are not controlled with
IGMP (for example, OSPF, PIM, IGMP, etc.)
Action Perform the following:
