1. Verify load file preference settings. Most likely the load file doesn’t match the card type.

2.3.19 Unable to Access Card
Message Card Failure Raised
Severity Major
Explanation The control module failed to communicate with the specified card
during some maintenance activity. The problem could be due to high
traffic running through the card that exceeds it processing capac-
ity. The problem could also be with card seating, or the card may be
defective.
Action Perform the following:
1. If a CFC card, reseat the card. If this fails replace the card. If this fails, contact Allied
Telesis Technical Support.
2. If this is an SM card, disable the card, and enable the card. If the alarm is still not
cleared, Reseat the card. If the alarm is still not cleared, replace the card.
