Note: For an active CFC, resolve immediately. Switch activity to mate CFC if it is
available and has no corresponding alarm.
2.3.8 Failed to Access Card
Message Card Failure Raised
Severity Minor
Explanation The control module failed to communicate with the specified card
during some maintenance activity. The problem could be due to high
traffic running through the card that exceeds it processing capac-
ity. The problem could also be with card seating, or the card may
be defective.
Action Perform the following:
1. Reseat the card.
2. Run diagnostics on the card, and replace if necessary.
