Note: For the CFC200, when the inactive is UP-DN for any reason it is a Major alarm

because of the shared switch fabrics; bandwidth is lost in this condition, which is

different from iMAP CFCs (Minor).

Note: For both iMAP and SBx3112, GE and XE interfaces have an UP/DOWN severity

of Major.

2.2.1 Card Not Present

Message Card Not Present Raised

Severity Major

Explanation A configured card is no longer present in the specified slot or the

card has been removed from the system.

Action Perform the following:

1. Take the absent card out of service (quiet the alarm) or insert a card of the type that

matches the provisioning remove the card provisioning.
