3 Discovery
3.1 SNMP Error Code
Message (SNMP error code): Error fetching device information Some of the
properties may be incorrect.
Severity Major
Explanation Verify SNMP to device and Rediscover Device.
3.2 Unable to Detect MO
Message Unable to update MO (status = false)
Severity Major
Explanation If problem persists call Allied Telesis NMS support.
3.3 Max. Allowed Node Limit Reached
Message Max. Allowed Node Limit of 4 Reached. Please Contact Allied Telesyn
Networks to Upgrade your node limit.
Severity Major
Explanation To be Supplied - SE versus EE on Network objects, Allied Telesis
Nodes discovered using ICMP, and non-Allied Telesis devices are not
counted against this limit. To change this limit requires an update
to the NMS license, and should be done with help from Allied Tele-
sis.
3.4 Unable to login to device
Message Unable to login to device. Add an NMS recognized userid/password to
the device OR configure the NMS to recognize an account of the
device

Explanation Add an NMS recognized userid/password to the device or configure
the NMS to recognize an account of the device.
3.5 Detected DUPLICATE IP
Message Detected DUPLICATE IP. (IP addr) in node (device name) is a dupli-
cate of (device name)
Severity Warning
Explanation If this is an unintentional duplicate then change the IP on one of
the devices and rediscover both devices
