• System Logs
System logs are stored in the NMS database as they are received. The actual logs stored depend on the log
types that are enabled and the log filters applied to each managed device. You can view all of the logs
received on your network from the System Log Events subview of the Network Events view. You can also
view logs on a specific device by right-clicking the device and then selecting Provision -> Device Log
Viewer from the pop-up menu. The Log Management Viewer window, shown in the following figure, will
appear. Refer to the AlliedView NMS User Guide for detailed information on the System Log Events subview.
