Explanation When configuring Service Module cards, users should be aware that
certain attributes are not compatible with certain cards. When try-
ing the change these attributes through commands at the CLI, the
command is rejected. During upgrade or when an AutoProv profile is
set so incompatible attributes will be applied, the system will
change the attribute to ensure compatibility, and a log is pro-
duced. In this message, Echo Cancellation (EC) was changed to OFF
for an ANNEX_B card.

Explanation The PSPAN was not able to resolve the MAC address of the peer (or
the gateway) using the ARP protocol. This may indicate that the
peer (or the gateway) is down, or that the intervening network is
down.
