Explanation This degrading alarm is the result of the OLT having errors trans-
mitting on the EPON, and is triggered by hardware inputs from
transceiver. The transmitted output has a high error level, but not
so high as to cause failure. This alarm may indicate a problem with
the EPON card or the SFP connecting with the fiber.
Action Perform the following:
