Explanation An Alarm Indication Signal has been received by the DS3. This is
sent from the remote peer to indicate that a transmission interrup-
tion has been detected in the network. One common reason for AIS is
when the remote peer has been administratively disabled.
Action Perform the following:

2.20.20 SFP Type Mismatch

Explanation An SFP is present, but it is not a DS3 SFP. The condition of the
associated GE interface depends on the peer configuration.

Explanation No SFP (of any kind) is physically present in the GE port. The
associated GE interface is therefore also failed.
