Explanation A problem has been detected with the 1.2v power output on the CFC12
switch board, affecting data packet processing. The CFC12 card is
probably defective.
Action Perform the following:
1. Replace the CFC card.
2. If the problem is still not resolved, contact Allied Telesis Technical Support
Alarms The following components are affected:

2.14.29 Duplicate IP Address
Message Card Failure Raised
Severity Major
Explanation The IP stack running in the card is reporting that it's IP address
has been found duplicated somewhere in the same subnet. The card
with the duplicate IP address may or may not be on the same shelf.
Having duplicate IP addresses in the same subnet will affect commu-
nication within the subnet and may affect service.
Action Perform the following:
1. Use the SHOW IP INTERFACE command to query all interfaces on all shelves.
2. Use the SET IP INTERFACE command to modify the IP addresses (as necessary) so
that they are all unique.
Alarms The following components are affected:

POTS24 Degraded Major
2.14.30 IP buffer pool exhausted
Message Card Failure Raised
Severity Major
Explanation The IP stack in the card is receiving more packets than it can han-
dle. The condition is most likely affecting service. The problem
will clear itself when the traffic level decreases.
Action Perform the following:
