Message Card Failure Raised
Severity Minor
Explanation The IP protocol software on the card was not able to resolve the MAC
address of the peer (or the gateway) using the ARP protocol. This
may indicate that the peer (or the gateway) is down, or that the
intervening network is down.
Action Perform the following:

2.14.22 DNS resolution failed
Message Card Failure Raised
Severity Minor
Explanation The IP protocol software on the card was not able to resolve the
domain name of the peer (or the gateway) using the DNS protocol.
This may indicate a problem with the DNS server, the domain name may
be invalid, or there may be a problem with the intervening network.
Action Perform the following:
