Message Card Failure Raised
Severity Major
Explanation Indicates that the MGCP entity on the card cannot communicate with
the external call agent. The problem could be with the Call Agent,
other network factors external to the system, or could be due to a
hardware or software condition with the POTS24 card itself.
Action Perform the following:

Message Card Failure Raised
Severity Minor
Explanation Indicates that the DSP (Digital Signal Processor) on the card is
not functioning, which impacts the card’s ability to packetize the
analog voice waveform. Most likely the card is defective.
Action Perform the following:
1. Replace the card.
