Explanation The ATU-C Failed Fast Retrains Threshold Crossing Alert (TCA) trap
provides an alert that a given ADSL interface has crossed its user
provisioned fast retrain limit during a given 15-minute interval.
Once generated during a 15-minute interval, the alert is not gener-
ated again until the threshold is crossed again in the next 15-
minute interval. The alert indicates that a given interface has
experienced a cumulative fast retrain failure condition in excess
of what is desired in a 15-minute interval. Typically, the alert is
generated every fifteen minutes until the problem is corrected or
until a user changes the threshold value.
