Explanation The interface is carrying a signal, but the ADSL card is unable to
frame against the signal. As a result, all packets are being
tossed.
Action Perform the following:
1. Verify that the provisioning characteristics of the ADSL port match those of the device
to which it is attached.
2. If there are any differences, correct them.
3. If there are no differences, attempt disabling and then re-enabling the port to see if the
problem persists.

Message Atur (Far End) Loss of Signal TCA on port
Severity Minor
Explanation The interface is no longer receiving a signal from far-end equip-
ment. The number of seconds the LOS defect has existed exceeds the
provisioned threshold for the current 15-minute period.
Action Perform the following:
1. Check the far-end equipment to make sure that it is still in-service.
