Example
The following example specifies that the management address will be advertised from an interface as
192.168.0.1.
lldp med enable
The lldp med enable Interface Configuration mode command enables LLDP Media Endpoint Discovery (MED) on
an interface. Use the no form of this command to disable LLDP MED on an interface.
Syntax
lldp med enable [tlv1tlv3]
no lldp med enable
Parameters
tlv — Specifies the TLV that should be included. Available TLVs are: network-policy, location and poe-pse.
The TLV capabilities are always included if LLDP MED is enabled.
Default Configuration
LLDP MED is disabled.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode.
User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example enables LLDP MED on an interface as network-policy.
lldp med network-policy (global)
The lldp med network-policy Global Configuration mode command defines LLDP MED network policy. Use the
no form of this command to remove LLDP MED network policy.
Syntax
lldp med network-policy number application [vlan id] [vlan-type {tagged|untagged}] [up priority] [dscp value]
no lldp med network-policy number
