PING
Syntax
ping ipaddress=ipaddress
Parameters
ipaddress Specifies the IP address of the end node to be
pinged by the multiplexer.
Description
This command instructs the multiplexer to ping an end node on the
network. You can use this command to determine if a valid link exists
between the multiplexer and the end node. You specify the end node by
its IP address. The result of the ping are displayed on the screen.
Example
The following command instructs the multiplexer to ping an end node
with the IP address 148.11.22.11:
ping ipaddress=148.11.22.11
To stop the ping, press any key on the keyboard.
