Quick Install Guide 9
6. Remove an existing power supply unit or fan only module from
the switch
Loosen the two captive Phillips screws on the PSU or FOM until the screws
are fully loosened (see Figure below).
Figure 1-1: Captive mounting screws on the AT-PWR01 and AT-FAN01
Slowly and carefully slide the PSU or FOM out of the switch’s power supply
bay. Ensure you support the PSU or FOM from underneath as you remove
it to prevent it from dropping when fully removed.
Warning Do not leave the power supply bays uncovered as the PSU and
switch may overheat or incur damage from dust and debris.
7. Insert a power supply unit
Warning Keep the PSU or FOM in straight alignment and insert it slowly.
Forcing a misaligned PSU or FOM is likely to damage the switch chassis and
PSU or FOM.
Slowly and carefully slide the PSU or FOM into the switch’s power supply
bay.
Firmly press the PSU or FOM until the faceplate engages, or nearly engages,
the switch chassis.
8. Secure the power supply unit
Tighten the two captive Phillips screws on the PSU’s or FOM’s faceplate
(see Figure 1-1 on page 9).
