Here are some of the management functions you can
perform with the module and the AT-S97 Management
Software:
Configure the operating parameters of the twisted pair
ports in the media converter channels:
– Auto-Negotiation
– Speed
– Duplex mode
– MDI/MDI-X configuration
Set the duplex mode of the fiber optic ports.
Select the operating mode of a media converter
channel:
– MissingLink
™
– Smart MissingLink
– Link Test
Establish rate limits for the ingress and egress packets
on the ports of the media converter channels.
Reset media converter modules.
View event messages.
Send event messages to a syslog server.
Manage up to sixty-four media converter modules from
one management module.
Create additional manager accounts.
Download new versions of the management software to
the management and media converter modules.
