Syntax PPPOA SET TRANSPORT
{<name>|<number>}
LCPMAXFAIL
<lcp max
fail>
Description This command sets the Link Control Protocol (LCP) maximum fail number for an exist-
ing PPPoA transport.
Options The following table gives the range of values for each option that can be specified with
this command and a default value (if applicable).
Example --> pppoa set transport pppoa1 lcpmaxfail 20

lcp max configure
Link Control Protocol; the maximum number of
configures that can be transmitted without reply
before assuming that the destination address is unable
to respond. The LCPmaxconf can be any positive
value.

lcp max fail
Link Control Protocol; the maximum number of con-
secutive negative acknowledgements (indicating that the
information received contains errors) that can be trans-
mitted before assuming that parameter negotiation is not
converging. The LCPmaxfail can be any positive value.
