7.15.2 LAN Ports Power Management
In 3-8, there is also for certain iMG/RGs the ability to configure power management per LAN port, so that a port is automati-
cally disabled in case of power failure. (Before 3-8, some devices had a default setting that of disabling all LAN ports except
port 1.) The NMS supports this feature on iMG/RGs as listed in Table 7-36. Refer to the ATI Gateway Product Family Software
Reference Manual for complete information on this feature and how devices support this feature.
This option is controlled through the Advanced Port Params button on the
• RG General Profile - Refer to 7.4.2.
• Service Management Form - iMG/RG -> Port Assignments
Note: Disable on Power Failure for CES ports is not supported from the NMS.
The following figure shows the Advanced Port Attributes GUI on the Service Management Form. When Enabled is selected,
the port is disabled if there is a power failure.
