Using the DEC VT100 or ANSI (the default) terminal configuration:

Select an option Highlight the option by pressing the Up (↑)

or Down (↓) arrow key; then press

RETURN

Type the

first character

of the option you

want at the prompt and then press

RETURN

If two or more options have matching initial

characters, type the initial character until the

option you want is highlighted; then press

RETURN

Enter information, for

example,

Type the correct

port number

and press
