UTP (RJ45) Connector
Figure 5 shows an RJ45 connector. For a 100Base-TX link between
switches, —any two Medium Attachment Units (MAUs)—you need a
crossover cable. For a connection to a Network Interface Controller (NIC),
the cable is wired straight through.
