Changing the Timeout Settings
To change the timeout settings:
1. Click the Advanced menu
2. Click System Password.
3. Select Enable Authentication.
4. Enter the number of minutes in the Idle Timeout text field.
5. To temporarily implement the settings, click Apply.
6. To make changes permanent, click Save Settings.
Firmware Upgrade
When updating the firmware, make sure you are using the correct file. Once the upgrade is complete, the
router will reboot. You will need to log back into the router after the firmware upgrade is completed.
To update the firmware:
1. Click the Advanced menu then click Firmware Upgrade. This opens the Firmware Upgrade
page.
2. Click Browse then locate the firmware file.
3. Click Update Gateway. The update may take a few minutes. Make sure that the power is not turned
off during the update process.
Restoring the Default Settings
To reset to the default factory settings, press and hold RESET for 10 seconds. This can be found at the
router’s back panel. When you reset, all the software updates will be lost.
To access the Web User Interface again, you need to install the router anew.
