4. In the COMn Properties dialog box, set:
• Bits per second: 9600.
• Data bits: 8.
• Parity: None.
•Stop bits: 1.
• Flow control: Hardware.
• Click “OK”.
5. From the File menu, select:
•“Properties”
In the Connection Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab and set:
• “Function, arrow, and ctrl keys act as” to “Terminal keys”
• “Emulation” to VT100.
