6.4.1 VLAN Information Window
The VLAN Information Window displays the following attributes for each VLAN definition:
Column Name Description
Name This is the name of the VLAN.
Identifier This is the unique identifier of the VLAN.
<Stack ID> - Tagged Ports
This is a list of the tagged member ports of the VLAN that
belong to a specific module on the stack.
<Stack ID> - Untagged
Ports
This is a list of the untagged member ports of the VLAN that
belong to a specific module on the stack.
Status
This indicates the status of the VLAN.
• idle
• operational
• under-construction
• not-operational
6.4.2 Add/Modify VLAN Dialogs
The Add/Modify VLAN Dialogs display the following Input Fields:

- Alphanumeric characters
- Underscore ("_")

6.4.3 Notes
• Ports in the Default VLAN cannot be changed from untagged to tagged.
• VLAN definitions that only contain tagged ports cannot be deleted.
• The Retry Timeout value may have to be increased depending on the number of
devices on the stack; otherwise, Add VLAN and Modify VLAN operations may fail.
