1.7 Install the FAN8
1. Remove the FAN8 from its shipping box.
2. Take the FA N8 from its antistatic container.
3. Place it on a table with the front facing the user.
4. Open the lock-latch on each side of the faceplate. This is performed by curling the thumbs of each hand
behind the lock-latch and pressing the release buttons. The lock-latch arms should swing out from the fan
assembly. Refer to Figure 1-7, Figure 1-8, and Figure 1-9.

5. Make sure both left and right lock-latches are fully open.
6. Slide the assembly into its slot on the top of the shelf until it is flush with the shelf surface. Figure 1-10
