29. Special Vend A Auto-Shutdown
Enable “+029”
This option, when turned on, will force the control to
shutdown during the Programmed Special Vend A
time period, preventing customers from starting a new
cycle after a selected time. “OFF” is displayed on the
VFD when Auto-Shutdown is active.
How to Program Special Vend A
Auto-Shutdown Enable
1. Control must be in Manual Mode. Refer to
Entering the Manual Mode.
2. Press the DELICATES (+) or the COLD (-)
keypad until “PrOg” appears in the VFD. Press
the START (enter) keypad and “+001” will
appear in the VFD.

3. Press the DELICATES (+) or the COLD (-)
keypad to scroll through the programmable
options until “+029” appears in the VFD. Refer
to Figure 90.

4. When “+029” appears in the VFD, press the
START (enter) keypad. The current Special Vend
A Auto-Shutdown Enable parameter value will
appear in the VFD. “0” will be displayed when
Auto-Shutdown is disabled and “255” will be
displayed when Auto-Shutdown is enabled.
5. Press the DELICATES (+) or the COLD (-)
keypad to increase or decrease the current value
displayed in the VFD to the desired value. Refer
to Figure 91.

6. Press the START (enter) keypad when the correct
value appears in the VFD. The next option, “+030”,
will appear in the VFD.
NOTE: To program “+030” (Coin #1 Value), refer
to option 30. To program other options, refer to the
appropriate section.
How to Exit Programming Feature
1. Be sure the control shows a programmable option,
not a value.
2. While pressing and holding the NORMAL
keypad with one hand, press the PERM PRESS
keypad with the other hand. The control will
revert back to the Ready Mode. Refer to
Figure 2.
