Power Fail Recovery
The Power Fail Recovery feature allows the cycle
status to be saved in memory in the event of a power
failure.
If the power failure lasted less than one minute and
30 seconds, the cycle will resume without requiring
the user to press the START (enter) keypad to restart.
If the control was in a fill cycle step and the pre-
programmed pressure switch is not satisfied, the
control will start the Fill/Tumble step from the
beginning. If the control was in an extract step, the
remainder of the step will be lost and the control will
resume in the next cycle step. However, if the control
was in an extract step prior to the final extract or in the
Final Extract step, the control will resume the cycle
from the beginning of the Previous Drain/Tumble step.
If the power failure lasted longer than one minute and
30 seconds, the Power Fail Reset option is turned ON,
and the duration of the power failure is less than or
equal to the time programmed in the Power Fail Reset
option, or the Power Fail Reset option is turned off, the
START (enter) keypad will flash until it is pressed and
the cycle will restart from the point it left off. Extract
steps are the same as previous paragraph.
If the power failure lasted longer than one minute and
30 seconds, lasted longer than the time programmed in
the Power Fail Reset option, and the Power Fail Reset
option is turned ON, the control will return to the
Ready Mode. The door will remain locked for one
minute.
