Abnormal Conditions
Emergency Stop
Pressing the red emergency stop button on the rear of
the machine will immediately stop the machine. If the
emergency stop button is not reset, machine will
initiate a safe stop routine releasing the door after
several minutes. If safety stop is reset during the first
several minutes option of selecting, resume cycle by
pressing START (enter) keypad.
Restart after Power Interruption
After power has been restored, press START (enter) to
resume cycle. If START (enter) is not pressed within
one minute, machine will initiate a safe stop routine
releasing the door and ending the cycle.
Door Will Not Lock
If the door handle has not been properly closed after
paying the vend and pressing START (enter), control
will not allow the cycle to start. Display will show
“Shut door” and the status LED “door” will light
prompting the user to close the door properly. Once
the door is closed properly, the LED will turn off and
the user should press START (enter) again. If this
continues, it indicates a problem, and a qualified
service technician should be consulted.
Door Open During Operation
If the control senses either a momentary or sustained
open door while the machine is operating in a wash
cycle, the control immediately attempts to halt rotation
of the cylinder. All outputs not required to effect rapid
halting of the cylinder rotation de-energize
immediately. The message “door” then displays as
long as the condition persists. Regardless of the
duration of the open door condition, once it is
recognized by the control, the control aborts the cycle
and goes to the stop routine even if the door is closed.
Excessive Fill Time
The control provides a Fill alarm whenever the water
level has not reached the programmed setting within
the time limit programmed for the cycle program step.
The display indicates “ERROR FILL” with an audible
beep, if the user does not press the START (enter)
keypad within 2 minutes, control aborts the cycle, and
continues to indicate the condition at the end of the
stop routine before the door is opened. Otherwise, if
the user presses START (enter) within 2 minutes the
control resumes the fill step.
Excessive Drain Time
The control gives a Drain alarm if the machine has not
emptied within the time limit programmed for the
drain step in the cycle. The display indicates ERROR
DRAIN, until machine drains. Otherwise, if the user
presses START (enter), control repeats drain step.
Out of Balance
If the machine goes out of balance, the machine will
attempt to balance the load with as many attempts as
programmed. After “__” attempts, the control aborts
the cycle and initiates the stop routine before the door
is opened leaving the load's water extraction at the
highest level achieved before shut down.
Door Will Not Unlock
If the door will not unlock, shut off power to gain
access to load. If this fault continues, it indicates a
problem, and a qualified service technician should be
consulted.
