9. Pull the supply wires up through the fixture chain

(E), alternating links. Push the wires up through

the canopy chain loop (C) into the outlet box.

Adjust the fixture chain (E) to the desired length,

removing links if needed. Attach one end of the

fixture chain (E) onto the canopy chain loop (C)

and then attach the other end of the fixture chain

(F) onto the fixture loop (H) on the top of the

fixture.

Note: You may need to use pliers to open the

chain links. If so, put a cloth over the chain to

protect the finish from the pliers.

Unthread the canopy lock ring (D) and slide

canopy lock ring (D) and ceiling canopy (F) down

the fixture chain (E). Push all slack fixture wire

through canopy chain loop (C) into outlet box.

Trim excess fixture wire, leaving a minimum of 6

in. hanging out of the outlet box. Refer to the next

step to connect the wires. Then re-attach the

ceiling canopy (F) as shown in step 7.
