Ring Network
Introduction
A Device-level Ring (DLR) network is a single-fault tolerant ring network
intended for the interconnection of automation devices.
The ring topology provides:
•media redundancy.
fast network fault detection and reconfiguration.
the resiliency of a single-fault tolerant network.
easy implementation without any additional hardware requirements.
