4-6 Automatically Configure a DeviceNet Network
Add the Scanner to the
RSLogix 5000 Project
To access the data of your network, add the scanner to the I/O
configuration of the controller. To add a scanner:

1. Right-click and choose New Module.
2. Choose the type of scanner.
3. Select the major revision of the scanner.
