Baud Rate

Sets the rate (bits per second) at which the scanner transmits data. The

scanner baud rate setting must match the host setting. The selections are:

• 600

• 1200

• 2400

• 4800

• 9600 (default)

• 19200

Parity

Set the parity of each ASCII coded character that is transmitted. Make

sure the parity matches the requirements of the host. The selections are:

• Odd

• Even (default)

• Mark (parity bit always set to 1)

• Space (parity bit always set to 0)

• None

Note: We recommend that you set the parity to None when

communicating with an AdaptaScan Bar Code Reader.
