Creating and Editing Motion Application Performance Profiles
The Cam Profile Editor is a graphical user interface within RSLogix 5000 for creating and editing
performance profiles (Cam Profiles). You can add cam elements or change existing cam point coordinates
in two different views, each of which is a different representation of the same profile. The graph view
displays a cam profile as a line graph. The slope view allows you to dictate the starting and ending points
of the slope displayed in the graph view. The grid view represents cam profile numerical data.
Cam Profile Editor Workspace
The Cam/Cam Profile Editor workspace is where you create and edit cam profiles and display them in
either a graph view, grid view or slope view.
