Chapter 3
Network Communication
Overview
The process of migrating from a 1395, 1397, and FlexPak 3000 to a PowerFlex
DC drive can vary significantly depending on the controller type communicating
with the drive and the particular communication module installed in the drive.
This chapter describes which architecture-class (20-COMM) network options
can be used with the PowerFlex DC drives. Because of the wide variety of
networks, processors, and drive options to consider, only migration information
is presented, rather than step-by-step procedures.
