You can  nd various places that have certi ed public scales where your motorhome can be weighed.
For example, moving and storage company lots, farm suppliers with grain elevators, gravel pits,
recycling companies, and large-scale commercial-truck stops are some of the possible locations for
weighing the motorhome. You can also check the Yellow Pages of the telephone book for “scales –
public” or “weighers” to determine other locations for weighing the motorhome.
A brief overview of the procedure for weighing the motorhome is shown below.
Note 1: From the tire manufacturer’s load and in ation tables or the sidewall of the tires mounted on the motor home.
Note 2: If the motor home has duals, read dual capacity from the tire and multiply by 2 (two) to obtain dual-assembly
load-carrying capacity.
