You can nd various places that have certi ed public scales where your motorhome can be weighed.
For example, moving and storage company lots, farm suppliers with grain elevators, gravel pits,
recycling companies, and large-scale commercial-truck stops are some of the possible locations for
weighing the motorhome. You can also check the Yellow Pages of the telephone book for “scales
public” or “weighers” to determine other locations for weighing the motorhome.
A brief overview of the procedure for weighing the motorhome is shown below.
Note 1: From the tire manufacturers load and in ation tables or the sidewall of the tires mounted on the motor home.
Note 2: If the motor home has duals, read dual capacity from the tire and multiply by 2 (two) to obtain dual-assembly
load-carrying capacity.
