SELECTING YOUR DESIRED FEATURE
TROUBLESHOOTING
MOUNTING AND WIRING YOUR FIXTURE
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect
power at fuse or circuit breaker before installing
or servicing.
NOTE:Fixturecanbewalloreavemounted.
NOTE:Coverplatemountstorecessedmounted
standardjunctionboxes(Fig.2).Junctionboxmust
beatleast1-1/2in.indepthforproperinstallationfor
recessedmountapplication.
1. Installprotectivereectors(I)ontolampholders
byliningupthenipplesonthecovers,overthe
lampholderslots.Lockintoplacebytwisting
coverscounterclockwise(Fig.3).
2. Lineuptheholesonthemountingbracket(H)with
theholesonyourjunctionbox.Usingeither(2)#6
screwsor(2)#8screws(D)(dependingonsizeof
theholesinyourjunctionbox),attachthemounting
bracket(H)toyourjunctionbox(Fig.4).
3. Threadxturewiresthroughcoverplate
 gasket(B)(Fig.5).
4. Connectxtureblackwiretohouseblackwire,
xturewhitewiretohousewhitewire,andcopper
coloredgroundwire(comingfromthexture
coverplate)tohousegroundwireusingwirenuts
(E)provided.
5. Attachxture(A)tothemountingbracket(H)using
thecenterbolt(G)provided.Besurenoloosewires
remainstickingoutfromunderneaththecoverplate.
Insertplasticcolor-matchedplug(F)incenterbolt
holefornishedappearance(Fig.6).
6. Applysiliconecaulkaroundtheedgesofthe
coverplatetoprovideawatertightsealfromrain
andmoisture.
7. Insertlampholdergaskets(C)intolampholder
assembly,tightlyagainstlampholder,andscrew
bulbsintoeachlampholder(Fig.7).(Donot
overtightenbulbs.)
8. Turnonpoweratmainfuse/breakerbox.
OPERATING YOUR FIXTURE
1. Moveslideswitchonbottomofthesensor
to“TEST”.Setsensitivityknobtomedium 
(halfway)(Fig.8).
2. Turnonthepowertoxture.Allowxturetowarm
upapproximately40secondsbeforetesting.(Lights
maynotcomeonduringwarm-upperiod.)
3. Aimsensorheadtowarddesireddetectionarea,
maintaininga15°downangletoallowmoisture
todrain.
NOTE:Maintainairspacingbetweenlampsandsensor
head,atleast1in.Makesuresensorheadispositioned
withcontrolswitchesfacingtowardstheground.
4. Walkacrossthedetectionzoneatthefarthest
distanceyouwishyourdetectortodetectmotion.
5. Adjustsensitivityuntilyougetdesiredresults.Light
willturnoff4secondsafterallmotionstops.
NOTE:Formaximumrangeperformance,allowxture
tooperateinanymode(withpowertotheunit)forat
least48hours.
6. Moveslideswitchto4min.or12min.(AUTO
mode).AtdusklightswilloperateintheAUTO
setting.

TEST FOR YOURSELF.
 • Coverthesensorlenswithcardboardtopreventsensorfrom
  detectingmotion.Ifthelightstaysoff,somethinginthedetection
  zoneistriggeringthesensor.
  •Ifthisisthecase,reducethesensitivity.
 • Repositionthesensor.
  *Ifthelightstaysonwiththesensorlenscovered,contact
  customerservice.
Light Stays On At
Night And Does
