removed.Removalofsuchpartscouldcreateafirehazard.Donotuseflammable
solutionstocleantheairfilter.
L. Themufflerandenginebecomeveryhotandcancauseasevereburn;donottouch.
GeneralSafety
WARNING
OperatingthisWoodChippersafelyisnecessarytopreventorminimizetheriskofdeathor
seriousinjury.Unsafeoperationcancreateanumberofhazardsforyou.Alwaystakethe
followingprecautionswhenoperating:
A. YourWoodChipperisapowerfultool,notaplaything.Exerciseextremecautionatall
times.ThemachineisdesignedtoChipWoods.Donotuseitforanyotherpurpose.
B. KnowhowtostoptheWoodChipperquickly.
C. Neveroperateyourunitonaslippery,wet,muddy,oricysurface.Exercisecautionto
avoidslippingorfalling.
D. Seemanufacturer’sinstructionsforproperoperationandinstallationofaccessories.
E. Neverusethemachinewithoutensuringthatallguardsandshieldsareinplace.
F. Never,underanyconditions,remove,bend,cut,fit,weld,orotherwisealterstandard
partsontheWoodChipper.Thisincludesallshieldsandguards.Modificationstoyour
machinecouldcausepersonalinjuriesandpropertydamageandwillinvalidyour
warranty.
G. Ifthemachinestarttomakeanunusualnoiseorvibrate,shutdowntheengine,
disconnectthesparkplugwire,keepingitawayfromthesparkplugtoprevent
accidentalstarting,wait5minutesforenginetocooldown,theninspectfordamage.
Vibrationisgenerallyawarningoftrouble.Checkdamagedpartsandclean,repair
and/orreplaceasnecessary.
H. Nevertamperwithsafetydevices.Checktheirproperoperationregularly.
