Installation Overview

for hardwire models.

Physically separate the input power connections
to the power conditioner from the equipment
power connections on the output. Data cables
should be kept as far away as possible from any
power cables.
For maximum performance, use shielded cable
or steel or flexible steel wall conduit with a
continuous copper ground between your
equipment and the power conditioner. Always
include an equipment grounding conductor for
each circuit on the output of the power
conditioner. Do not use extension cords or
power strips. Do not connect your equipment to
the power conditioner’s output until the input
connections have been made and proper power
conditioner operation has been verified.
Verifying Your
Installation
1. Turn OFF the input circuit breaker on the
power conditioner. Verify that the
installation follows the guidelines outlined
in
Important Installation Guidelines on
page 3.
2. Turn ON the main power source.
WARNING : Dangerous voltages are present.

3. Place the power conditioner’s input circuit
breaker in the ON position.
4. Use a voltmeter to determine if voltage is
