ALX41X module supports Bluetooth Core Specification version 4.0 (called Bluetooth Smart). It
includesClassicBluetoothandBluetoothlowenergyprotocols.Bluetoothlowenergyisasubset
of Bluetooth v4.0 with an entirely new protocol stack for rapid build‐up of simple links. As an
alternativetotheBluetoothstandardprotocolsthat
wereintroducedinBluetoothv1.0tov3.0,it
isaimedatverylowpowerapplicationsrunningoffacoincell.
