2 Enter a message.
Select each character by turning the dial, and then establish it by pressing the
DOWN key. Pressing the UP key allows you to cancel the established character.
Up to 36 characters may be entered (the initial setting is ALINCO INTELLIGENT
RECEIVER).
3 Finish the setting.
After you have finished entering the characters, press the key.
The display will return to the CONFIG menu. Point the arrow at END and then
press the key (Alternatively, you may press the key, and then press the
key while is shown on the display.
Note: • If you exit the CONFIG menu by pressing the key, the changed
setting is canceled.
• If you turn the dial while holding down the key, you can move 11
characters ahead.
3.1.13 Resetting the receiver
This command resets the DJ-X2000. Be careful as all settings you made up until
now may be cleared from memory, depending on your selection.
While holding down the key,
turn ON the power. When the DJ-
X2000 starts up, the USER RESET
menu will appear on the display.
Move the arrow to the reset command you want, using
the dial or the UP/DOWN key. Then, press the key.
Reset commands are described here following.
CANCEL Cancels the reset command entirely.
SYSTEM Initializes user-set functions, but it does not clear memory
channels. (Choose this normally.)
ALL Clears all functions and memories.
