Description

Appears when the FUNC key is pressed.
Displays when the keypad is locked.

Indicates the receiving signal (S-meter) and
transmis-sion output levels (Power-meter).

Appears when an incoming call matches your
optional signaling. Appears when setting the
BELL function.

Appears when setting the scrambler.

Displays the transmission output setting.

Basic Operation

3.1 Turning On the Power
Turn Power / Volume dial clockwise to
power on.
Turn it counter-clockwise to power off.
3.2 Adjusting the Audio Output (Volume)
Press and hold MONI key to monitor
white noise to refer to the current audio
level.
Turn Power / Volume dial clockwise to
increase the audio level,
counter-clockwise to decrease.
Never use earphone while adjusting
audio level for your safety.
3.3 Selecting the Operating Channel
Press ▲ key or ▼ key to select the
channel to communicate. Press and
hold the keys to continuously change
the channel numbers.

dealer. Enter a 4-digit code the
dealer assigned for you.
Assigned number to keys are as
follows:
FUNC =1, ▲ =2, MODE =3,▼ =4
