For connection of the included helical
antenna. If you use other antenna, choose
one with low SWR (Standing Wave Ratio)
designed for VHF and UHF frequencies.
Press this key to transmit. When the key
is released, the transceiver returns to a
receiving state.
When this key is pressed, the squelch is
unmuted and you can hear the received
signal. The squelch is also unmuted
when TSQ is set. (See on P.XX)
If this key is pressed while the F icon
appears, you can change a tuning step.

This is for connecting an external power
supply.
By connecting included AC adaptor
(EDC-126), you can charge the battery.
By connecting an optional cigarette
lighter cable (EDH-32), you can supply
power from a car battery and charge the
battery.
