12. DVR Management

12.1 Configuring General Settings

General settings such as the system language can be configured in the

General Settings menu of your DVR.

To configure general settings:

1. Enter the General Settings menu by clicking Menu > Settings > General.

2. Select the General tab.

3. Configure general settings. These settings include:

• Language: Default language used in DVR menus.

• CVBS Output Standard: Video output standard: Use PAL.

• VGA Resolution: VGA or HDMI output resolution.

• Time Zone: Time zone to use for DVR.

• Menu Date Format: Format to use for date.

• System Time: System time and date.

• Mouse Pointer Speed: Speed of mouse pointer.

• Enable Wizard: Activate or deactivate the Wizard when booting up.

• Enable Password: Enable/disable system password.

Note: If the video standard is different between the input and the output, you

may notice flickering in Live Preview mode.
