1.7 Rear Panel Diagram

1 RS232 Connection for RS232 devices
2 Video In BNC connectors for analogue video input
3 Audio In BNC connectors for analogue audio input
4 RS485 interface Connection for RS485 devices. Connect to T+ and T-
5 Controller port D+, D- connect to Ta, Tb pins on controller. For cascading
devices the first DVRs D+, D- pins should be connected to the
D+, D- pins on the next DVR.
6 Alarm Out Connections for alarm output (4 channels)
7 Power Input AC 110v ~ 220v
8 Power Switch On / Off power switch
9 Audio Spot Out BNC connector for audio output. If VGA is connected, audio
is synchronised with VGA. If not audio is synchronised with
Video Spot Out.
10 Video Spot Out BNC connector for monitor. If VGA is connected, interface is
for video output only. If VGA is not connected, interface is
for video output, playback and showing PTZ controls.
11 Video Out BNC connector for video out. If VGA is connected, the
interface is used for spot output only with local video display,
playback, recording and PTZ controls. If VGA is not
connected , the interface is used as the main video output with
local video display and menu operations.
12 Audio Out BNC connector for audio output. This connection is
synchronised with Video out.
13 Line In BNC connection for audio input
14 VGA DB9 connection for VGA output. Display local video output
and menu.
15 HDMI HDMI video output connector
16 LAN interface Connection for LAN (Local Area Network)
17 USB interface Connection for USB devices
18 Termination Switch RS485 termination switch. Switch down to terminate.
19 Alarm In Connections for alarm input (up to 16 channels)
20 Ground Ground needs to be connected when DVR starts up
Loop Out (Optional) DB15 connection for video matrix and monitor
eSATA (Optional) Connects external SATA HDD, CD/DVD-RM or disk array
