iv. Select the IP SAN disk directory from the list shown below.
v. Click OK to add the selected IP SAN disk to your system.
NOTE
If the added NetHDD is uninitialized, select it and click the Init button for initialization. Initializing an storage device erases all data
saved on the disk.
6. Add additional disks as needed up to a maximum of 8 NAS, or 7 NAS and 1 IP SAN.
2.9.3 Managing eSATA
When there is an external eSATA device connected to NVR, you can congure eSATA for the use of Record/Capture or Export. To
manage the eSATA device connected to the NVR.
1. Go to Menu | Record | Advanced.
2. Open the Usage drop down list and select either Export or Record/Capture.
Export: Use the eSATA device for backup. Refer to Backup using eSATA HDDs in Chapter Backing up by Normal Video Search
for operating instructions.
