3. Enter the information for new user, including User Name, Password, Level and User’s MAC Address.
— Set the user Level to Operator or Guest. Dierent Levels have dierent operating permission.
* Operator: The Operator user level has permission of Two-way Audio in Remote Conguration and all operating
permission in Camera Conguration by default.
* Guest: The Guest user has no permission of Two-way Audio in Remote Conguration and only has the local/remote
playback in the Camera Conguration by default.
— User’s MAC Address: The MAC address of the remote PC which logs onto the NVR. If this option is congured and
enabled, a remote user with this MAC address only can access the NVR.
4. Click the OK to save the settings and go back to the User Management interface. The added new user will be displayed on the
list. See the screen shown below.
5. Select the user from the list and then click the button to enter the Permission settings (Per icon) interface. In the example
above, user “01” was selected.
