d. On the Adding Method line, open the drop down list and select Manual.
e. On the IP Camera Address line, click the entry eld and use the pop-up keyboard to enter the IP address of the camera
you want to add.
f. On the Protocol line, click the entry eld and select the camera protocol (usually the manufacturer’s name) of the
camera you want to add. The Protocol is shown in the camera data discovered during the search. You can also choose a
preset custom protocol if it applies. See “2.7.2 Conguring customized protocols” on page 30 for more information.
g. On the Management line, click the entry eld and use the pop-up keyboard to enter the Manage port of the camera
you want to add. The Manage Port number is shown in the camera data discovered during the search.
h. On the User Name and Password lines, click the entry elds and use the pop-up keyboard to enter the administrative
username and password of the camera you want to add. Password can contain only numerical characters. For new
cameras, this information is the default setting. It is usually included in the documentation provided with the camera.
