Cause Fault Remedy
High pruner does not operate No current supply Check current supply.
Defective outlet Try a dierent source of current,
change as necessary.
Extension cable damaged Check cable, replace if necessary.
Defective fuse Replace fuse
High pruner operates irregularly Mains cable damaged Take saw to a specialty workshop
External loose connection Take saw to a specialty workshop
Internal loose connection Take saw to a specialty workshop
Defective on/o switch Take saw to a specialty workshop
Saw chain dry No oil in the tank Re-ll oil
Ventilation in the oil tank cap clogged Clean oil tank cap
Oil tank ow channel clogged Unclog oil ow channel
Chain/guide rail hot No oil in the tank Re-ll oil
Ventilation in the oil tank cap clogged Clean oil tank cap
Oil tank ow channel clogged Unclog oil ow channel
Dull chain Re-sharpen or replace chain
High pruner jumps up, vibrates or

Chain tension too loose Adjust chain tension

teeth in the correct direction
13. Ordering spare parts
If you need accessories or spare parts, please contact our
Service department.
When working with this tool, do not use any accessory
parts other than those recommended by our company.
Otherwise the operator or others in the vicinity could suer
serious injuries, or the tool could be damaged.
The following information should be provided when
ordering spare parts:
• Type of machine
• Item number of the machine
14. Fault nding
Caution!
Switch o the machine and pull out the mains plug
before commencing fault nding.
The following table shows fault symptoms and describes
how they can be rectied if your machine is not function-
ing properly. If this does not help you localise and rectify
the problem, contact your service workshop..
